The functionality of the developed software applications adhere to the Rules & Laws applied within the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance. |

This richness extends to the inventory management as well to provide a full representation of warehouses, keepers, items, costing methods and stock transactions.

The main purpose of the Stock and Purchase systems was to serve the MOI Stores Directorate in managing the distribution and allocation of goods among the MOI warehouses and to handle the day-to-day business operation. However, the stock system being modular and integrated with the purchase system has contributed in improving the efficiency operation, increasing productivity, and maintaining accuracy in the MOI warehouses. The systems delivered guarantee for effective management, proper planning, and at the end would lead to better decision-making.
Vehicle Management & Maintenance System was developed for the Ministry of Interior to assist managers in tracking vehicles records related to maintenance, allocation, traffic records, Insurance, Registration and the history of each vehicle within an entity. It contains the forecasting, planning and controlling modules to monitor the vehicles activities. In fact, the system was designed to analyze these activities by providing vital reports for who ever in charge to improve decision-making related to vehicles at the MOI. |

Customer Information System (Utility Billing) |
The Billing System is to keep track of Water and Electricity consumption, consumer records, and create water/electricity management database, in addition to issuing monthly bills for water and electricity consumption. The balance of each consumer is calculated according to categories of customers account type that are predefined as system parameters.
The Billing System maintains information and transactions related to the consumers and their meters. It handles the managerial affairs of the consumer services and periodically track water and electricity consumption average according to user defined periods. It generates many reports to help the management in making decisions. |

The system has been launched into production since April, 2003 and is providing services as per AADC business requirements. |

The main purpose of this project is to have a unified database for the Federal government of the UAE. Each person living in the UAE should have a social security number where this number is unique and can be used at the Federal level to envisage various types of information about him/her being as local or expatriate. The systems shall have the mechanics to be interfacing with other systems like barcode readers, finger print system, imaging systems, InterPole (International Police), etc.
The project is based on having a centralized database linked via network with all the Airports, Ports, Boarders (Entry / Exit) checkpoints all over UAE to facilitate easy access of information for security purposes. Various types of information related to the person can be accessed depending on his Nationality being local or Foreign.
Our people consisting of 25 team members were allocated for the development of the Ministry of Interior systems. Each of which are working in his area of specialization as project managers, analysts, programmers, and DBA. The project has been completed and all system have been rolled-out to all seven emirates within UAE. |

Omnix International was in charge of the implementation of project management tools specifically Primavera & Expedition across various departments, this involved hands on training on the tools of some projects as a pilot. The overall planning and resource management in addition to the contracts and relevant project documents were handled by Primavera & Expedition being linked to the web site for the purpose of handling all project inquiries such as status, deliverables and time schedule.
The other part of our role was to build a custom made application for tracking maintenance of buildings and all premises included. The system provided a detailed and up-to-date information related to maintenance jobs carried out on buildings, schools, mosques, bridges and other government facilities widely spread in northern emirates. |

Our task was to carry out full automation the business processes of all sections under the Al Ain Town Planning Department. Our Development team had to work on-site applying our standard development methodology for the whole project to understand the business aspects closely with the AATPD administrators and ensure successful software delivery. The solution provided to AATPD encompasses GL, Budgeting, Purchasing, Inventory, Assets Management, Human Resources, and Document Management System. One of the key features of the delivered applications was the integration of TIMS Saperion (DMS) with the HRMS, which grants the end user with the facility to store and retrieve documents (i.e. passport, labor card, certificates, visas, etc) pertaining to the employees’ records working for the AATPD. |
